She brings more than 25 years of experience in agriculture and food communications after leading global public affairs and corporate communications while at DuPont Pioneer, Campbell Soup Company, Ocean Spray Cranberries and Fleishman-Hillard. She also served as VP-Marketing at FarmLink and MachineryLink, early leaders in agtech. With deep connections across the media and influencer landscape, Jennifer helps carve out thought leadership opportunities for our clients. She earned a master’s degree in integrated marketing communications from Northwestern University, and a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Washington State University. Nicole Barreca Prenger - Media Relations Advisor

As an experienced communications and brand professional, Nicole helps our clients tell their story effectively to national, trade and non-traditional media. Between chasing down new media opportunities, spinning up social media posts and strategizing big-impact client campaigns, Nicole brings a unique ability to create concise visual stories on multiple channels. Previously, Nicole led communications for the World Food Prize Foundation for over a decade. In addition to supporting executive communications and managing multiple social channels, she was responsible for the internationally renowned Norman E. Borlaug Hall of Laureates education and convention center. A Corn Belt native now based in Des Moines, Nicole earned a bachelor’s degree in graphic journalism, and a master’s in communication leadership. In her not-so-free time, she juggles parenting two young boys and coaching a high school dance team.

Georgie Smith - Content Development Lead

Known to friends and family as “Farmer Georgie,” Georgie’s unique resume enables her to translate complex science and technology to a grower or mainstream audience. A 4th-generation farm kid and 4-Her, Georgie ran a successful multi-crop operation on her family’s historic Pacific Northwest farm for 20 years. As a journalist, editor and ag influencer with a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Washington State University, Georgie has been published in The Guardian, Fortune Magazine, Acres USA, OneZero, Farmer’s Footprint and many other publications, and has attracted a loyal social media following. Just as comfortable getting her hands dirty as she is writing whitepapers, Georgie helps our clients create a wide variety of content pieces and brings her love for and deep understanding of the agricultural landscape and farmer mindset to client communications strategy. When not writing, Georgie enjoys growing vegetables and flowers, spoiling her backyard chickens and supporting her local farm and food community.

Esty Altshul - Project Management Lead

Esty has been managing projects in some capacity for over 15 years. Starting her career in Hollywood’s reality television production, she knows how to create compelling visual content, and how to coordinate many moving pieces on deadline. Following her passion for the environment and sustainability, she returned to Israel’s growing agtech hub. For the past five years, she managed Groundwork BioAg’s marketing, branding and communications while supporting regulatory affairs and product development. Leveraging her unique and in-house experience, Esty helps our clients manage integrated marketing programs, including advertising, trade shows, social media and product campaigns. Esty holds a master’s degree in environmental studies, with a focus on water management. In her free time, she loves to make lists, and better yet, cross things off her lists.
